POSITIVE CHANGE


Athletes have to stay focused!


Meditation helps you to control your emotions and focus your attention.
Thought patterns become more focused and you gain the ability to increase your attention, self-analyze, and both recognize and permanently remove unhealthy tendencies.  Overcoming distractions occurs when you recognize when the mind is wandering and know how to take the necessary steps in order to achieve a continuous conscious flow.

There are five states of attention:
  1. Restlessness with fluctuating attention
  2. laziness with no motivation
  3. distraction by internal or external events
  4. single focused concentration with flowing energy
  5. continuous flawless concentration
This awareness enables you to choose to create your best life. You are not stuck with the life-pattern and thought-pattern that you currently have.  Change is possible.  Putting new thoughts into new actions is not just about producing a new way of thinking though.  Through self-direction, you decide how to follow through with your thoughts and what your actions are going to be.
With knowledge of the five stages of attention you can see what you need to alter in order to move to a calmer and steady state of mind.
