Affirmations

Newsletter
Every Wednesday, I co-publish a meditation newsletter that highlights the latest medical research related to meditation.  It also has affirmations and feedback from readers.
Check this week's newsletter at the link below.  You can also subscribe to receive it in your in-box.

We've often been told that it's a great mid-week picker-upper!

Decades of psychoneuroimmunology research proves that optimistic people live longer, healthier lives. By default, they are also happier.  Affirmations are a great method of training the mind to focus on the positive rather than on matters which are not really important, yet sap your time and energy.
Affirmations are statements of belief that you repeat either consciously or unconsciously. They can be either negative - “I can’t do that” or “I’m not …. enough”
or positive - “I know that I am helping people.”
Used affirmatively, they represent the experiences that you desire however they can also be used as tools of creation, helping you to manifest great changes within your life and circumstances.

Thoughts and words require energy and they in turn have their own unique energy. Make the best use of your energy by understanding the power behind your thoughts and using their power to create a wonderful new reality.  As always, use an affirmation that best fits your needs.
Affirmations
I trust in my wisdom
I am moving in the right direction one thought at a time
I focus on my desires instead of my fears
